STORY

  • KEN OKAMURO

    A designer Ken Okamuro graduated from the Design Department at Tokyo University of the Arts, with specialization in the visual communication. Okamuro has produced a variety of work through Draft Inc., D-BROS, HAKUHODO DESIGN and is currently employed by HAKUHODO Inc. Ken has also received the JAGDA New Designer Award, Tokyo TDC Award, ADC Award and several other distinctions throughout his career.

    The designer believes that the soft and gentle texture of papers can be applied in more common settings. Ken is constantly seeking out possibilities that expand on hidden opportunities to utilize this appealing textures of paper, by using innovative technologies and ideas. Based on this philosophy, the project brand “pages” was launched, in order to plan a new future for paper by developing various products and media.
